What is happening in Israel today have caused sharp divisions among Jews and Christians due to this fundamental belief “God will bless Israel” and that is an overly simplification of God Yahweh’s promises to Abraham and his descendants.

In my previous post I did pointed out a very important fact that the promises of God Yahweh are conditional.

It is shocking and horrifying when Jews and Christians will deliberately marginalize the conditional aspect of God Yahweh’s covenant and by doing so are laying traps for their own future disaster through deceptions and lies.

Although God Yahweh did gave His words revealed in scripture that He will show His favor for Israel but we must pay attentions to the full context of what God Yahweh actually said and promised

 

Ezekiel 36:16-23

16 The word of Adonai came to me: 17 “Human being, when the house of Isra’el lived in their own land, they defiled it by their manner of life and their actions; their way before me was like the uncleanness of niddah. 18 Therefore I poured out my fury on them, because of the blood they had shed in the land and because they defiled it with their idols. 19 I scattered them among the nations and dispersed them throughout the countries; I judged them in keeping with their manner of life and actions. 20 When they came to the nations they were going to, they profaned my holy name; so that people said of them, ‘These are Adonai’s people, who have been exiled from his land.’ 21 But I am concerned about my holy name, which the house of Isra’el is profaning among the nations where they have gone.

22 “Therefore tell the house of Isra’el that Adonai Elohim says this: ‘I am not going to do this for your sake, house of Isra’el, but for the sake of my holy name, which you have been profaning among the nations where you went. 23 I will set apart my great name to be regarded as holy, since it has been profaned in the nations — you profaned it among them. The nations will know that I am Adonai,’ says Adonai Elohim, ‘when, before their eyes, I am set apart through you to be regarded as holy.

 

The very reason Abraham was called and chosen was to show forth God Yahweh’s holiness.

The same reason and condition was upon the nation of Israel that left Egypt under the leadership of Moses.

The same condition and obligation is upon Israel and the Jews today because God’s covenant with them was not broken. So for the children of Israel it is a matter of do it or die with it for their covenant with God Yahweh.

God Yahweh did declare to Israel through Moses that if the people who are called by His name broke the terms of His covenant they will suffer punishment and vengeance as according to the terms and conditions laid out in the covenant.

History has proven to us how God Yahweh continue to keep His promise to bless Israel is to purge, separate, and divide between those who worship and serve Him in truth and those who do not. Those who willfully rebel and broke covenant with God Yahweh perished without hope of restoration and redemption.

God Yahweh allowed the enemies of Israel to attack and destroy Jerusalem to purge and cleanse the His land of His people who are called by His name but rebelled against His words.

 

Lamentations 4:12-13

12 The kings of the earth could not believe, neither could anyone living in the world, that enemy or foe would ever enter the gates of Yerushalayim.

13 It happened because of the sins of her prophets and the offenses of her cohanim, who, within her walls, shed the blood of the righteous.

 

The assassination of Yitzhak Rabin the Prime Minister of Israel on November 4th 1995 by a Jewish extremist named Yigal Amir should never be forgotten and whitewashed. If Jewish people remember the holocaust they must not forget their own Jewish extremist killed their own righteous man Yitzhak Rabin.

It is expected that a holy and just God Yahweh will do justice for the wrong done to this righteous man Yitzhak Rabin.

Since 1948 Jewish extremists have been committing unrestrained blood-shed in the land defiling God Yahweh’s holy name!

When Israel refused to acknowledge their sins against God Yahweh but insist on their rights and entitlement of Jewish heritage to the land their own corrupt leaderships will lead them to hell and destruction.

When Israel was attacked by the Assyrians, they could not believe it was God Yahweh who was punishing them even with continuous warning from God’s prophets

When Jerusalem was under siege by Babylon, Judah’s rulers rejected Jeremiah warning about God’s punishment

When Jerusalem was again under siege by the Romans there were Jewish extremists thinking they were entitled to God’s blessing and protection but the horrifying consequences resulting in the dispersion of the Jewish people lasting longer than that of the Babylonian exiles.

History keeps repeating when national leaders refused to acknowledge and repent of their collective sins and broke covenant with God Yahweh.

How many times the Jewish people suffered devastating and defeating warfare and this spoken of the prophet Zechariah will happen again soon

 

Zechariah 14:1-2

Look, a day is coming for Adonai when your plunder, [Yerushalayim], will be divided right there within you.

2 “For I will gather all the nations against Yerushalayim for war. The city will be taken, the houses will be rifled, the women will be raped, and half the city will go into exile; but the rest of the people will not be cut off from the city.”

 

It is very sad that after all the failure and defeat of Israel then Messiah will come.

Is there a reason for it?

 

Human Leadership Idolatry

 

When Israel has a leader who is completely submitted to the will of God Yahweh then God Yahweh will cause His shalom to be upon the land and the people.

When Israel leaderships willfully refused to do the will of God Yahweh but insist on their own expectations of Jewish rights, privilege, and entitlement to the land, they themselves will suffer the punishment at the hands of God Yahweh.

So what wrong did the current leaderships of Israel do?

 

Leviticus 19:33-34

33 “‘If a foreigner stays with you in your land, do not do him wrong. 34 Rather, treat the foreigner staying with you like the native-born among you — you are to love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt; I am Adonai your God.

 

It is foreseeable that chaos, infighting, and power struggle within the Knesset will intensify while the enemies continue to attack. The IDF will suffer crushing humiliating defeat, and all the soldiers who lost their lives because they answered the call of duty by government orders, their families and loved ones who are left alive will react in unforgiving anger and resentment towards their own national leaderships.

It will be a time of darkness worst then what happened when Jeremiah wrote Lamentations.

Only when Israel as a nation and collectively act as one and is fully prepared in hearts and souls to receive the Mashiach (מָשִׁיחַ) then there will be real redemption and restoration from God Yahweh.

 

Malachi 3:22-24

22 “Remember the Torah of Moshe my servant, which I enjoined on him at Horev, laws and rulings for all Isra’el.

23 Look, I will send to you Eliyahu the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible Day of Adonai.

24 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers; otherwise I will come and strike the land with complete destruction.”

 

Israel today is serving their human political agenda under the shadow of Rabbinical Judaism which is a deviation from the pure teachings of Moses.

Israel need to return to the pure teachings of God Yahweh as delivered through Moses on Mount Sinai.

Israel needs to learn to trust and obey God Yahweh for deliverance and redemption and not rely on the U.S and their own military strength.
