When you have two or more parties determined to kill and destroy each other, drawing boundaries will not solve problems especially when all parties involved wanted the same land. And what about people, whose families and forefathers, have been living there for generations before 1948?
It is a known fact before the Balfour Declaration 1917 majority of people living in the Palestine, at least 90% or more, were non-Jews. And the most contentious issue about the Balfour Declaration 1917 in support of Israel has been “what about the Arabs and non-Jews living in the land?”
Jewish extremist groups today who insist on exclusive rights to the land for Jews only will never agree to any form of two-state solution. Remember back in November 4th 1995 Yitzhak Rabin the Prime Minister of Israel at that time who was endorsing a platform of Israeli–Palestinian peace process was assassinated by a Jewish extremist named Yigal Amir. After being arrested and questioned Yigal Amir’s confession was “satisfied” and “acting on the orders of God”. Till today Yigal Amir who is still serving prison sentence never expressed regret for the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin and there are right-wing Jewish groups campaigning for his release!
Jewish extremist groups have explicit manifesto they do not want peace and they will shed blood to cleanse the land of non-Jews as according to their definitions of purification obligations.
This is the fundamental reason since 1948 there have been never ending fighting and bloodshed. Jewish extremist groups do not think they are doing something that is morally wrong and they do not think they are sinning against the covenant of God Yahweh with their reckless shedding of blood of non-Jews. Even their own Jewish people who do not agree with their policy for the current of Israel and their clear intention to cleanse and purify the land to rebuild the temple are targeted and even killed! These extremist groups think they are “acting on the orders of God” as what Yigal Amir did when he assassinated Yitzhak Rabin.
Apparently the founding of Israel in 1948 is a classic example of political maneuvering and that is why till today there is no real sense of shalom for the Jewish people but the continuous anticipation for wars and conflicts.
For Jewish people who know their Torah this scripture reference from Leviticus revealed the teachings and wisdom of God Yahweh how to co-exist with foreigners in the land
Leviticus 19:9-19
9 “‘When you harvest the ripe crops produced in your land, don’t harvest all the way to corners of your field, and don’t gather the ears of grain left by the harvesters. 10 Likewise, don’t gather the grapes left on the vine or fallen on the ground after harvest; leave them for the poor and the foreigner; I am Adonai your God.
11 “‘Do not steal from, defraud or lie to each other. 12 Do not swear by my name falsely, which would be profaning the name of your God; I am Adonai. 13 Do not oppress or rob your neighbor; specifically, you are not to keep back the wages of a hired worker all night until morning.
14 “‘Do not speak a curse against a deaf person or place an obstacle in the way of a blind person; rather, fear your God; I am Adonai.
15 “‘Do not be unjust in judging — show neither partiality to the poor nor deference to the mighty, but with justice judge your neighbor.
16 “‘Do not go around spreading slander among your people, but also don’t stand idly by when your neighbor’s life is at stake; I am Adonai.
17 “‘Do not hate your brother in your heart, but rebuke your neighbor frankly, so that you won’t carry sin because of him. 18 Don’t take vengeance on or bear a grudge against any of your people; rather, love your neighbor as yourself; I am Adonai.
19 “‘Observe my regulations.
Since 1948 Israel’s continuous military incursions and offensive ground attacks into land area designated for Palestinian Arab went against the directive of Resolution 181 and have been creating and sowing seeds of discontent and resentment in the regions and eventually turned even their old friends into foes.
Jewish extremist groups targeting and attacking Messianic Jews among their own have become another classic example of “shooting your own feet”.
Christian groups who support Israel think they are doing what is right according to God’s will but do they know their friendly attitude towards Israel not appreciated by Jewish extremist groups? Do Christians fully and clearly understand that Jewish extremist groups are pressing the current government to introduce new amendment to penal law entitled “Prohibition of Solicitation for Religious Conversion – 2023″ which if approved will prosecute Christians for preaching Jesus to Jews with penalty of at least one year prison sentence. What would American Christians think about this?
As mentioned in previous post Israel today is serving under the shadow of their human political agenda of Rabbinical Judaism which is a deviation from the pure teachings of Moses. The model of governance as laid out in the Torah written by Moses through direct divine communications with God Yahweh is a form of theocracy with Israel as a nation submitted to the teachings of God Yahweh. Israel today needs to return to the pure teachings of God Yahweh as delivered through Moses on Mount Sanai.
For Israel to find real shalom with God Yahweh it will be death and life contention between Rabbinical Judaism vs the real Torah written by Moses. For a long time Israel as a nation have been serving under their own sins which led to their exiles –
Jeremiah 2:13
13 “For my people have committed two evils: they have abandoned me, the fountain of living water, and dug themselves cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water!
Jeremiah 8:8-9
8 “‘How can you say, “We are wise; Adonai’s Torah is with us,” when in fact the lying pen of the scribes has turned it into falsehood?
9 The wise are put to shame, alarmed, entrapped. They have rejected the word of Adonai, so what wisdom do they have?
More from the prophet Ezekiel
Ezekiel 20:13-17
13 “‘But the house of Isra’el rebelled against me in the desert. They did not live by my laws; and they rejected my rulings, which, if a person does, he will have life through them; moreover, they greatly profaned my shabbats. Then I said I would pour out my fury on them in the desert, in order to destroy them. 14 But concern for my own reputation kept me from letting it be profaned in the sight of the nations who had seen when I brought them out. 15 Yet I also raised my hand and swore to them in the desert that I would not bring them into the land I was giving them, a land flowing with milk and honey, the most beautiful of all lands; 16 because they had rejected my rulings, did not live by my laws and profaned my shabbats; since their hearts went after their idols. 17 However, I spared them from complete destruction; I did not completely finish them off in the desert.
Another warning from the prophet Isaiah
Isaiah 5:18-25
18 Woe to those who begin by pulling at transgression with a thread, but end by dragging sin along as if with a cart rope.
19 They say, “We want God to speed up his work, to hurry it along, so we can see it! We want the Holy One of Isra’el’s plan to come true right now, so we can be sure of it!”
20 Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!
21 Woe to those seeing themselves as wise, esteeming themselves as clever
22 Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, men whose power goes to mixing strong drinks, 23 who acquit the guilty for bribes but deny justice to the righteous!
24 Therefore, as fire licks up the stubble, and the chaff is consumed in the flame; so their root will rot, and their flowers scatter like dust; because they have rejected the Torah of Adonai-Tzva’ot, they have despised the word of the Holy One of Isra’el.
25 This is why Adonai’s anger blazed up against his people, why he stretched out his hand against them and struck them [so hard that] the hills shook, and corpses lay like trash in the streets. Even after all this, his anger remains, his upraised hand still threatens.
In one of my previous post I mentioned how God Yahweh can continue to keep His promise to bless Israel is to purge, separate, and divide between those who worship and serve Him in truth and those who do not. In time past Jews who willfully rebel and broke covenant with God Yahweh perished without hope of restoration and redemption and the same judgement will follow today.
God Yahweh allowed the enemies of Israel to attack and destroy Jerusalem to purge and cleanse His land of His people who are called by His name and eventually we will see clear distinctions between those who are true worshipers of God Yahweh and who are not.
Whoever will be left among the true Israel will follow Moses’ teachings to call upon יהוה YHVH God and then the Messiah will appear to save those of Israel who are true worshipers of God Yahweh. But before that we will see a massive show of apostasy among the Jews of today either through a systematic movement of rejecting Rabbinical Judaism or public denouncement of their Jewish identity or both. Situation within the Knesset will most likely do a sudden swing towards secularism and the remaining people of Israel who do not want to be associated with either Jewish extremism or being secular would seek refuge in the writings of the prophet Malachi
Malachi 3:22-24
22 “Remember the Torah of Moshe my servant, which I enjoined on him at Horev, laws and rulings for all Isra’el.
23 Look, I will send to you Eliyahu the prophet before the coming of the great and terrible Day of Adonai.
24 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers; otherwise I will come and strike the land with complete destruction.”
