The current military conflict in Israel since October 2023 had caught the attention of people across the world.

The land of Israel had been a war-zone since 1948 but this time of particular concern would be religious Jews and Christians who are awaiting the Messiah and the establishment of The Messianic Era.

Opinions are sharply divided in how to interpret scriptures in reflection of current situation in Israel, especially those writings of the Prophets that foretold of end time events leading to The Messianic Era.

Christian groups who are quick to endorse and support Israel need to know the reality and operations of Jewish extremist groups pressuring and influencing the Israeli government policies and military since 1948.

People must not forget back in November 4th 1995 Yitzhak Rabin the Prime Minister of Israel at that time who was endorsing a platform of Israeli–Palestinian peace process was assassinated by a Jewish extremist named Yigal Amir.

Being arrested and questioned Yigal Amir’s confession was “satisfied” and “acting on the orders of God”. Till date Yigal Amir who is still serving prison sentence never expressed regret for the assassination and there are right-wing Jewish groups campaigning for his release!

What needed to be clearly addressed is what does Christian groups means when they say they “Stand with Israel”? Do they know for a lot of Americans to “Stand with Israel” mean to provide financial funding to Israel military operations into Gaza? Do people know how much of these funding goes to Jewish extremist groups and individuals?

If we open our eyes and see what is actually happening on the ground, Israel is projecting her brutalities and cruelties to Palestinian people already under siege within Gaza. Furthermore all others foreign nationals working and stationed inside Gaza are trapped within an encaged war-zone.

Israel’s evacuations orders are like forcing a group of people locked up within a huge cage to move left move right. Everyone inside Gaza already knew such evacuations orders from Israel is but an excuse for genocide, ethnic cleansing, and massacre of  Palestinian people together with foreign nationals working with them inside Gaza.

Israel as the only nation who has an established covenant with their God Yahweh should know what is written in their Holy Scripture warnings against such unrestrained bloodshed –

 

Ezekiel 22:1-6

The word of Adonai came to me: 2 “Now, human being, are you prepared to judge? Are you prepared to judge the city drenched in blood? Then make her realize how disgusting all her practices are! 3 Say that Adonai Elohim says, ‘City that sheds blood within yourself, thus speeding your own doom, and that makes idols for yourself that defile you: 4 you are guilty because of the blood you have shed, you are defiled by your idols that you have made. You have shortened your days, you have completed your years; therefore I have made you an object of scorn for the nations and a laughingstock for every country. 5 Those close by and those far off will taunt you, you who have such a defiled reputation and such great disorder. 6 “‘The leaders of Isra’el in you all use their power in order to shed blood.

 

The message of the Prophet Ezekiel is a reminder of what Israel’s government leaders of today are doing

 

“‘The leaders of Isra’el in you all use their power in order to shed blood.”

 

Christian groups who supports Israel need to know Israel today as a nation is not pure Torah observant neither do they follow the Law of Moses! Neither are they true worshipers of God Yahweh because if they had listened and obeyed the teachings of Moses they would not have done what they did to Palestinians and foreigners living in the land.

The brutalities and cruelties projected by Israel towards non-Jews in the land do not reflect the compassion and justice of God Yahweh.

The teachings of God Yahweh as received by Moses instructed the Hebrews to intentionally look after foreigners in the land especially those who are poor needy and destitute –

 

Leviticus 19:33

33 “‘If a foreigner stays with you in your land, do not do him wrong. 34 Rather, treat the foreigner staying with you like the native-born among you — you are to love him as yourself, for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt; I am Adonai your God.

 

People of Israel today are already divided between secular and religious Jews and furthermore Jews who claim to know the Torah follow teachings of Talmud more then what was actually taught by Moses!

Majority of Jews today practice their form of Judaism which is different from the pure teachings of Moses! The existence of Jewish extremist groups has added to the complexities of Jewish society today.

Back in history Israel had gone to war in the name of God Yahweh but not this time! The kind of warfare we are witnessing in Israel today is completely different from what was happening back in the time of Moses and Joshua.

During the days of Moses and Joshua, nations actually witnessed the acts of God Yahweh and they feared God Yahweh! Joshua had the Ark of the Covenant with them and they went into The Promised Land with the Ark of the Covenant and the Priesthood leading the way under the guidance of God Yahweh.

In the current warfare in Israel since 2023 October do people see the acts of God Yahweh? NO! What people across the world are witnessing are the brutalities and cruelties of Israel against civilians entrapped inside Gaza.

The name of God Yahweh is being tarnished and profaned by Israel’s unrestrained shedding of blood in the land in this period of time.

What is happening in Israel today fit exactly what Jesus warned the Jews about coming judgement and destruction before Rome destroyed Jerusalem –

 

Matthew 23:35-39

35 And so, on you will fall the guilt for all the innocent blood that has ever been shed on earth, from the blood of innocent Hevel to the blood of Z’kharyah Ben-Berekhyah, whom you murdered between the Temple and the altar. 36 Yes! I tell you that all this will fall on this generation!

37 “Yerushalayim! Yerushalayim! You kill the prophets! You stone those who are sent to you! How often I wanted to gather your children, just as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you refused! 38 Look! God is abandoning your house to you, leaving it desolate. 39 For I tell you, from now on, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai.’”

 

Israel today depended on their own military might and with the support of U.S government they assume they will win. But will they?

Have the Jewish people forgotten what happen before the Babylon Exile, and before Rome destroyed Jerusalem? Self-deception and over confident leaderships that brought the downfall of Israel as a nation!

Scripture do not indicate if there will not be a third expulsion and dispersion of the Jewish people from the land after Babylon and Rome. In fact there are repeated warnings throughout scripture that if the Jews dishonor the teachings of their God Yahweh they will be thrown out of the land.

It is in times of disaster that God Yahweh will do His acts of purging and separate those who are true worshipers from those religious fakes and extremist who profaned the name of God Yahweh.
